CAROLYN DUNLOP, CO-FOUNDER, PRESIDENT & CAMP DIRECTOR
Having previously served on the BC Children’s Hospital fundraising team, Carolyn has always known the benefit of volunteering. In November 2015 she had a vision to create Camp Choice BC here in the Lower Mainland. Aside from serving as President and Camp Director, Carolyn has been enjoyed a successful career in pharmaceutical sales consulting health care professionals on life saving and life changing medications.
LIZ YEUNG, VICE PRESIDENT AND DIRECTOR
Liz Yeung is a founding member, and currently serving as Vice President of bc camp choice society, and for the previous 2 years, she was Director of Fundraising. liz is a committee member of Women of Global Change (WGC), Vancouver Chapter, an organization supporting women and men focused on serving the larger Vancouver community. Professionally, she founded ProductCamp Vancouver, an organization serving product management and marketing professionals, and served as the Vice Chair for BCTIA, Product Management Group.
KELLY BURKHOLDER, CO-FOUNDER, TREASURER & DIRECTOR
MIKE HARRISON, SECRETARY & DIRECTOR
Mike Harrison has served on the Board of the Serauxmen Service Club as Secretary in Nanaimo for 8 years. he wanted to “get back to giving” in his community and is honoured and grateful to a be a part of making this gift a reality for the kids. Mike is currently an Architectural Representative of western canada for Starline Windows.
DAWN ADAMS, FUNDRAISING CHAIR & DIRECTOR
Dawn Adams has been with Camp Choice since 2016, serving first as Technical Director, and in 2018 was voted onto the Board of Directors and elected Fundraising Chair for the 2018-2019 year. She also sits on the gala fundraising committee. Dawn’s past experience includes Treasurer for the Memorial Undergraduate Geographical Society, Advocacy Chair for the Wilfrid Laurier Graduate Students Association, 2x president of Positively Speaking Toastmasters and is currently a committee member for Women of Global Change Vancouver Chapter. She is also a Mortgage Agent with Mortgage Alliance Bespoke Lending Solutions assisting clients in navigating the often confusing world of home financing.
JOHN PATRICELLI, YOUTH SELECTION CHAIR & DIRECTOR
Growing up on the rough side of town in East Vancouver. John was Born into a family where domestic violence was common, in response to this, he started searching for a way out of the painful life he was living. For a young teenager, that meant hanging out late at night, and drinking to forget the nasty things happening around him. He was an at-risk youth, making many bad choices along the way. Thankfully through the support of friends and family, john turned his life around and became a husband, father and successful Burnaby REALTOR®. In 2017 he was the recipient of real estate board of greater vancouver realtors care award, and is a mentor for the east end boys club of Templeton High School. in addition, john speaks to other east vancouver high schools about the perils of drinking and drugs and how they can instead choose to create a successful life making positive choices.
PHIL MOORE, DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE
Phil Moore is a former Vancouver Police Officer. He presently serves as the IMMEDIATE PAST President of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and has served 8 years on the board. Phil has been a realtor with Re/max Central in Burnaby for 30 years and also gives back by working with the youth at the Boys and Girls Club of East Vancouver.
REXX LLABORE, DIRECTOR-AT-LARGE
Rexx Llabore is a web developer and an entrepreneur. He provides web solutions that allow companies to increase their profit and reduce cost by streamlining business processes.
His desire for a cleaner future for the next generation allowed him to establish a waste management company in the Philippines. He really hates trash!! In his spare time, he loves reading/listing to audio books about personal development and entrepreneurship. He loves to travel, experience new culture and explore the world.
